I hope you had a fantastic January. It seems like we were just opening presents and making resolutions and now it’s time to plan for Valentine’s Day and to wish we were somewhere warm and sunny instead of dealing with snow.
It’s also been a busy month at Make a Living Writing Romance. I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss anything so I’ve recapped the themes of the month and included a few links.
In January we talked a lot about Writing Success, Romance Writing Goals, andcreativity. We also talked about improving your writing.
At the end of the month, I also started a new blog category and series focused on self-care for romance writers. In the first post I shared why sleep affects your creativity, and how it helps with weight loss. I don’t know about you, but as a writer I spend a lot of time sitting down. It’s not great for the backside or the waistline! I’m hoping that this new self-care series will help you not only improve your health, but also help you become a better romance writer. You can check out the blog post here. Let me know what you think and if you’d like more posts on self-care.
Next month we’ll also take a look at writer’s block, self-publishing, and finding an agent or publisher. February is the month of love, which means it’s the perfect month for romance writers!
