I was watching the Broncos football game last night and marveling at the the “power” Tim Tebow has over the nation.
He’s mystified so many and it’s amazing to watch how people react. His team and many others are fully on board with him now. But why?
My theory, and I’m just sure I’m right:-D, is that Tim loves the sport of football with ever beat of his heart. He is truly passionate about football. Now presumably, his teammates love playing football too. I don’t believe that they would be professionals if they didn’t. It’s too competitive of a sport.
What I think happens, this Tim Tebow effect, is that he’s reminded them of what they love about the sport. The joy he feels when he is playing football is contagious. It rubs off on his teammates and takes it to a whole new level.
It’s fun to watch and I’m glad it has captured the nation’s attention. Perhaps more of us will begin to live our passion and find activities that fill us with great joy.
