What caused your heroine to want to escape and find normalcy in household chores? What does she find inside the walls of her home?
For example, maybe she wakes in the middle of the night to find an intruder in her home. He’s searching for something. He knocks her down but not before she gets a good look at his eyes – otherworldly eyes. The next day, she’s cleaning and finds a box with ancient writing on the top of it.
